New Politics Endorses Walter Berbrick for Congress

Providence, RI – New Politics, one of the country’s largest progressive group of veterans and national security leaders in the country, has endorsed former Naval officer and Naval War College professor Walter Berbrick in his campaign for Congress in Rhode Island’s special election representing the 1st district.

New Politics, a bipartisan organization, supports veterans and national security leaders running for office acrossthe country. They have endorsed veterans in Congress, including Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton and Jake Auchincloss, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger of Virginia’s 7th District, and many others.

Walter Berbrick served 10 years in the Navy focusing on countering violent extremism. For the past 15 years, Walter has served as a civil servant, educating and bringing together civilian and military leaders from across our government to develop new, real-world solutions to keep Americans safe. His collaborative approach to helping our country’s leaders prevent war and adapt to climate change led him to national security roles at the State Department and Pentagon.
